SAN MARTIN

Common Name. San Martín de Santa María de Buil.
Dating from Romanesque this beautiful church stands out because of its interior arcades and its pictorial mural collection from the XVIII century.
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA
Locality: Toledo de la nata.
Municipality: La fueva.
Common Name: San Juan de Toledo.
This church placed bottom of Sierra Ferrera is Romanesque, built between XI and XII centuries, it has an interesting trefoil head and fantastic paintings with demonologicaliconography.
SAN VICENTE DE LA BUERDA
Locality: San Vicente de la Buerda.
Municipality:Labuerda.
Common Name: San Vicente de la Buerda.
Another Romanesque church placed in a beautiful and hidden place. It is important to highlight its esconjuradero (a sacred place where bad storms were exorcised) and its altarpiece painted in fresco devoted to San Vicente Mártir.

Common Name: Iglesia de Olsón; “Cathedral of Sobrarbe”
Olson Parish is a rare example of late Gothic Renaissance and it dates from XVI century. It raises on the rocky promontory in which an ancient medieval castle stood. It is necessary to out stand the façade from the classicism.

It is a solid three storey quadrangular tower next to The House of the Valley of Broto. From the medieval ages it was used as prison and its interior walls hoard a collection of carvings made by the prisoners themselves.

Belsierre is a locality strategically situated only 6 km from Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. It is a neuralgic point where several activities can be carried out:
·Alpinism. We are surrounded by dozens of three thousand meter peaks among which we should emphasize Monte Perdido, the highest calcareous mountain in Europe, Posets or Llardana the second highest peak of the Pyreenees. We also can find lower but not less important peaks like Punta Suelza, Cotiella, and Peña Montañesa among others. They have numerous alpinism and climbing routes. See more
·Cross country and alpine skiing: In the vicinity of the area you can find the cross country skiing resorts of Fanlo and Pineta. ·Canyoning. We are in an enviable place for canyoning practice. With more than 100 canyons in a short perimeter this gets to be one of the best areas of all Europe. ·Mountain Bike: From Belsierre we will be able to find different routes de todo tipo de dificultades y longitud. Próximamente se señalizarán nuevas rutas de BTT en la comarca. Buenos recorridos son Valle Real - Pineta, Pista de Ordiceto, Zona de San Victorian... y muchas más. See more...
·Hiking. Right from the doorway we will be able to find different easy paths identified as PR. Many of them lead to nearby villages of great beauty and historical value such as Puértolas, Bestué or Escuain. It is also worth mentioning the access route to Fuente de los Baños (Medicinal water fountain). Nearby we can also find great routes (GR's) like GR19 and GR11 (transpyrenean). We can point out ascents like those to Peña montañesa, Castillo Mayor, and Sestrales. In case of being dry, Airés canyon is a good place to get lost. A bit further we can get lost in Añisclo Valley, Pineta, Ordesa, Escuaín, Barrosa, Trigoniero, we can also hike up Urdiceto Lake, gaze at Basa de la Mora Lake in Cotiella, Gistaín, Viadós and even the French Pyrenees, in the Natural reservation of Neouvielle, Soum the Salettes, etc. more...
·Horse riding. We will find rides services in Pueyo the Araguás, Banastón, and Margudgued. By the hour, or routes of half, whole or even several days. Check rates.
·White water: Rafting, kayak... In Aínsa, Broto and Torla we can find several companies offering hire material and guiding services. The rafting in the river section Torla-Broto of Ara river is considered the most difficult guided river section of the Pyrenees. In the rivers Ara, Cinca, Cinqueta, Barrosa, Ésera and others we can practice canoeing at different levels.
·Paragliding:
·Espeleology, caves: Arañonera System in Bujaruelo (Torla) is the 17th fissure of the world with 1349 metres of vertical run. Closer than this there is the system of Fuentes de Escuaín (35th with 1150m) so extensive that it has not been completely topographed yet. For those who start in this activity we can also find more easy caves but not less spectacular. ·Snow shoeing and Randonee ski: Countless routes all over the area; Bielsa tunnel, in the northern side is a good starting point for lots of routes and ascents with snowshoes. Concerning ski we can also visit Real Valley, junta Samuels, (one of the most spectacular winter ascents of the area), Neouvielle, Fellatio, Marboré...and many more.
·Rock climbing: We find difficult routes in the Devotas, Foz de la Canal, Ordesa, Castillo Mayor, Peña Montañesa and sport climbing and of various levels in Ligüerre de Cinca, Foradada del Toscar, Bielsa and a bit further Olvena, Torla... more...
·Ice climbing: in Barrosa and proximities, Bielsa Tunnel, we will find good routes if conditions are good.
·Hunting and Fishing: There are fishing preserves in the rivers Cinca, Bellós and Ara. We can also practise this activity (even in canoe) in Mediano reservoir. Numerous hunting preserves in the vicinity. Small game hunting in the preserve of Ceresa.
·Micology: In autumn as well as in spring we can enjoy this exciting activity. It is traditional in Aínsa the Mycology Congress of Sobrarbe celebrated every October, with a wide offer including lectures, audiovisual presentations, gastronomy and mycology courses, guided walks, shows, samplings, folk performances, etc.
