Another delight of rural tourism in Huesca and the Pyrenees of Huesca in particular is the Casteret Cave. The most practical way to reach the cave is to head out NW from the Góriz refuge on a well-marked medium-incline trail that begins directly behind the refuge through pastureland and which shortly brings you to a rocky crag that requires a certain amount of rock gripping at several points. After you have passed this craggy point, the trail continues horizontally through a flat zone of vegetation dotted with small pools of water in the direction of the Col de Millaris, where the uphill trail becomes stony.
From this point, you turn right (without descending to the rain gauge station on the Plana de San Ferlús) onto a trail that ascends along the rocky slope to the entrance of the cave situated at the foot of the 'Pico Anónimo'.
Return to Góriz via the same route: 2 hrs.
Elevation gain: 440m
