We are in the central Pyrenees, in the old and historical administrative division of Sobrarbe, one of the wildest areas and least subjugated by humans of all the Pyrenees.

It owns a rich privileged heritage concerning architecture, culture, gastronomy, geology and landscape with a wide range of activities for all kinds of visitors.
In its vast territory of more than 2000 square km, there are three protected areas: Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, Guara Natural reserve and Posets-Maladeta natural reserve. These areas together with the French Pyrenees National Park comprise the biggest protected extension of Europe.
With an area higher than 15000 Has the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park is the second National Park in Spain and it has been distinguished as World Heritage by the UNESCO and comprises Ordesa, Pineta, Escuain and Añisclo Valleys.
Our greatest architectural wealth dates back to Romanesque, present in many of our religious, civil and defensive buildings, although we have relics of more ancient eras like Tella’s dolmen.

We are surrounded by beautiful villages and spots of great cultural and historical value, like Aínsa (Historical and Artistic collection), Alquézar, Torla, San Victorián Monastery, Bielsa, Tella…
